Paracel

The Paracel carbon project is a pioneering large-scale afforestation, reforestation and conservation initiative in Paraguay, expected to sequester over 100 MtCO2 over the project lifetime. Spanning over 200,000 hectares, this ambitious project aims to transform degraded land into a vast carbon sink.

Through carbon capture, sustainable timber supply, and conservation of natural ecosystems, the Paracel carbon project contributes to global climate mitigation efforts. Additionally, it provides socio-economic benefits to local communities by offering employment while also setting Paraguay up as leading forestry nation. This project exemplifies scalable nature-based carbon removal solutions.

Burapha Agroforestry

The Burapha Agroforestry carbon project is a large-scale agroforestry initiative in Laos expected to remove up to 15 MtCO2 while establishing a sustainable supply of high-quality timber on previously degraded lands and contributing to conservation efforts. This project integrates reforestation with sustainable agricultural practices across vast areas, planting trees and inviting local farmers to cultivate crops on the newly regenerated land.

Burapha Agroforestry supports local communities by providing employment and increasing food security through the agroforestry model. This project demonstrates the positive impact that nature-based carbon removal projects can have on climate mitigation and sustainable development.

SilviPar

The SilviPar carbon project is an expansive afforestation, reforestation and conservation effort in Paraguay. Dedicated to generating CO2 removals, producing high-quality sustainable timber, and supporting restoration and conservation, SilviPar aims to transform 70,000 hectares of degraded land into a productive landscape.

SilviPar is set to remove 14 MtCO2 from the atmosphere over its duration, playing a substantial role in global climate change mitigation. This project not only aids environmental sustainability but also drives economic growth and development in local communities, showcasing the power of nature-based climate solutions.
